Program note 

The name of the piece derives from a perceptive phenomenon that consists of listening to noises or sounds, which are not produced by an external source, but are generated in our mind. The piece seeks to represent that sensation of hearing our worries all the time, as a noise that expands and contracts, from those ideas that haunt us as murmurs to those worries that prevent us from sleeping or thinking about something else. 

Acúfenos represents the acceptance of our emotional fragility and also the release of all that accumulated tension.
