Born in Mexico City, he studied composition at the Escuela Superior de Música and graduated in 2012 under the guidance of José Luis Castillo. He has taken advanced composition classes with Juan Trigos, Héctor Parra, Marc Sabat and Mario Lavista, among others. In 2022 he obtained a master's degree in composition at the Liszt Ferenc Academy in Budapest and the University of the Arts in Berlin. He recently completed a postgraduate degree in composition with Daniel D'Adamo at the Strasbourg Conservatory. 

He won the Ibermusicas 2021 Prize, the Egidio Carella Competition and the Hungarian Composers' Association Composition Competition. He is currently a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte in México.
