Born in Havana in 2000, Paula Piñeiro is a Cuban composer and oboist who graduated from the University of Arts of Cuba. She is passionate about exploring timbres and atmospheres with a unique perspective on sound phenomena. 

Her music has been performed by internationally renowned ensembles and has received numerous awards. She has participated in festivals and courses such as the Chigiana International Festival & Summer Academy 2024 and the Puccini International Opera Composition Course 2024 in Italy, as well as the International Summer Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. 

Her catalog includes orchestral music, chamber music for instrumental ensembles, as well as music for solo instruments.
